CONSTRUCTION

Generally taking on any construction or engineering project will require a large amount of meticulous planning, followed by repetitive and constantly monitoring to stay on track and on budget.

We aim to offer our clients an end to end project management tool for setting weekly targets and tracking progress from beginning to completion. By using aerial survey as part of your construction project, particularly with the use of 3D modelling and the online platform you can ensure your project stays on track and within budget by avoiding costly errors.

With the use of aerial survey, we can safely and accurately perform stockpile calculations and elevation spot checks with the ability to compare location bulk earth works design or finish level design as well as virtual fly throughs showing project in situ, time lapse images capturing progress, end of month press and quantity analysis. When compared with traditional survey, which can be time consuming and costly, aerial survey can cover every inch of your project with high resolution images in usually just a few hours.

The use of UAV’s will assist in improving efficiency, tracking and reporting as well as reducing costs. With the use of aerial survey we can offer:

  • Accurate aerial maps and images to assist with project planning

  • 3D virtual fly throughs showing the structural design in situ with a full colour terrain model

  • Time-lapse photos from a fixed aerial GPS position for progress monitoring and promotion

  • Haul route planning and measurement (route, grades, volumes)

  • Efficient area surveys of coverage eg. topsoil, mulch, seeding

  • End of month progress and quantity analysis

QUARRYING & MINING

The use of aerial survey in mining is a valuable tool in planning, stockpile and extraction calculations. By carrying out routine aerial surveys, we begin to build a portfolio of production as well as the ability to track volumes of material and tailings to work out accurate operational costings. The use of aerial survey also allows you to monitor haul routes, ensure benches and berms are at safe operating standards and measure material moving through both your sales and tailings piles giving you powerful insight into costings and future forecasting. Full 3D terrain maps and contour maps assist with mine planning, bulk earthworks assessment and drainage analysis.

We have taken part in quarry start up planning from setting out boundaries of excavation and acoustic walls to tracking excavation of overburden for end of month billing and forecasting.

With aerial survey we have the ability to attend your site and deploy aircraft within the hour and the following day have fully processed ortho-rectified photography providing clients with the flexibility to manage a site.

Energy.jpg

ENERGY

With the use of UAV’s, we are able to inspect and assess the condition of critical and hard to reach areas including power lines, exhaust towers, pipelines, oil rig derricks and energy distribution networks eliminating the need or requirement of putting people and equipment in risky situations.

There are constant risks within the energy sector not only to people and infrastructure but also a high demand for ongoing inspections for maintenance forecasting. With the use of UAV’s, we are able to eliminate the risks and establish more frequent inspection schedules savings time and ultimately costs.

Using UAV’s within the energy sector we are capable of the following:

  • Inspecting of solar panels

  • Monitoring and reporting on oil rigs and power plants

  • Powerline structure and components

  • Monitoring progress

  • Aerial survey

LANDFILL

Using drones in landfill you gain the ability to not only monitor remaining airspace at any time but track the settling rate of areas as well. This in turn will help you determine density and forecast projections as to life span of the project. You will be able to track and monitor bench’s, batters and ensure proper drainage is set up before the wet season as well as measuring length, width and grade of haul roads leading in and out of area of works to ensure safe conditions are being met.

The aerial survey data allows you to pin point key infrastructure points such as bore hole locations and lead shade lines.

With the use of aerial survey we can offer:

  • Airspace and earthworks calculations- provide data to you or your consultants, or automated calculations using our secure online data portal yourself for instant measurements

  • High-resolution, high-accuracy full colour maps: 3.5cm per pixel, accurate to ~5cm across your site

  • Fast turnaround- generally, within 48 - 72 hours

  • One-off or regular monthly surveys, and we offer significant cost reductions for regular service

  • Manage volumes, correlate weigh bridge data, airspace calculations, earthworks, EPA reporting and general site planning

  • We’re happy to work closely with your existing site surveyors to ensure compatibility of data, coordinate systems and reporting.

AGRICULTURE

Some seasons are tougher than others and it appears tough times may start becoming even tougher.

With the use of drones in agriculture our clients can utilise the data produced to effectively and precisely manage and treat lower producing areas of your crop.

Working with Agronomists we use our experience to deliver cost effective outcomes for farmers to reduce inputs and increase their yields. Australian farmers are world leaders in the use of technology to increase farm efficiency, and we love to play a part in helping them deliver those gains.

We have a demonstrated track record in:

  • High-resolution mapping for general crop monitoring and farm planning

  • NDVI analysis of crop health and vigour

  • Generating data for precision application prescriptions

  • Aerial survey for flood and irrigation channel design

  • Aerial survey for field levelling and contour bank planning

  • Herbicide resistant weed mapping

  • Pest animal management

  •  Crop health research using multi-spectral cameras

  • Thermal imaging

  • Insurance loss documentation

ENVIRONMENTAL

The world as we have known it, is slowly changing. Flash storms are becoming more frequent, droughts are settling in for longer periods, sea levels are rising, and this will have a direct effect on everyone on earth.

By monitoring our surroundings, we can adjust and adapt, and this is how man kind has become so resilient. With the use of UAV’s, we can monitor these subtle changes in real time from a better vantage point allowing us to not only view but forecast effects of storms including coastal erosion, droughts, flood extent and possible areas at risk.

On top of allowing us to monitor these changes, in severe situations or disasters, the use of UAV’s allows us to view extent of devastation without placing people and valuable equipment in harms way.

Our industry knowledge is second to none.
